our mission: expand our love of old-world handcrafted design into homes around the world with masterfully crafted fixtures.

residence supply is the fastest-growing dtc brand in lighting and hardware, inspired by the enduring beauty of spanish colonial and old-world european design. In under two years, we’ve passed 8-figure revenue, launched hundreds of handcrafted skus, and built a community of design lovers who crave heritage over sterile modern block homes.

now, we’re building out an elite-level content arm — think architectural digest home tours meets zara home editorial, powered by handcrafted fixtures and timeless interiors. We need a video editor with taste. Someone who can turn raw footage into cultural storytelling. Someone who doesn’t just cut clips but shapes a cinematic brand world across youtube, instagram, and tiktok.

the role:

we’re hiring a video editor who will define the aesthetic voice of our brand through motion.

you’ll work hand-in-hand with our founder, creative director, and videographers to:

* edit cinematic long-form content (youtube design storytelling, product films, mini-docs)
* craft scroll-stopping short-form edits for tiktok, instagram reels, and ad campaigns
* build a visual language that feels both timeless and high-performance
* this isn’t just editing.
* this is cultural direction through storytelling — where craftsmanship meets cinema.
what you’ll take ownership of:

right from the start:

* build a polished editing workflow across long-form and short-form video
* deliver 5–10 edits per week across youtube and social platforms
* shape residence supply’s cinematic style with an emphasis on interior design aesthetics
* integrate motion graphics, typography, and branded overlays that feel high-end, not templated

short-term goals (30–60 days):

* launch our youtube channel with a series of design-driven videos
* deliver ad-ready social edits with a zara home x ad energy
* collaborate with creative to refine a branded lut/color palette for consistency
* create a content rhythm that delivers at least 15–20 high-performing assets/month

long-term goals (3–6+ months):

* build a scalable video library and archive system for all content assets
* develop signature branded transitions, intros, and motion systems
* push our editing style into campaigns, showroom storytelling, and events
* lead editing quality standards as we scale a team of creators and editors
who you are:

you’re not just an editor. You’re a tastemaker with a timeline.

* 3+ years editing high-level content (interior design, architecture, fashion, or luxury dtc preferred)
* fluent in premiere pro, after effects, davinci resolve, or final cut pro
* strong sense of pacing, music sync, typography, and cinematic storytelling
* obsessed with design — you get interiors, light, and mood
* experience editing across both long-form (youtube) and short-form (reels, tiktok, ads)
* comfortable working with footage from cinema cameras, drones, and iphones alike
* organized, detail-driven, and able to deliver fast-turn edits without sacrificing taste
* bonus: motion graphics, sound design, or color grading mastery
