responsibilities.
core financial analysis & modeling
* analysis: conduct in-depth financial analysis of brand performance across multiple markets (mx), including revenue, profitability, and cost analysis.
* projections & forecasting: develop and maintain financial models to project brand performance, incorporating market trends, sales forecasts, and competitive analysis.
* variance analysis: perform variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budget and forecast, identifying the underlying causes of deviations.
planning & strategic support
* budgeting & planning: assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
* market research: analyze market data, economic trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks for the brand across different markets.
* ad-hoc analysis: support ad-hoc financial analysis requests, providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.
cross-functional collaboration & reporting
* reporting: prepare and present regular financial reports and dashboards to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for action.
* cross-functional collaboration: work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align financial projections with brand strategies and initiatives.

qualifications
* education: bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or cfa certification is a plus.
* 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a brand-focused or multi-market environment.
* proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., excel, power bi, or similar).
* strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
* excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
