role overview:
we are expanding our sales team in mexico city and are seeking a talented account manager to join us.
as an account manager, you will be responsible for achieving retention revenue targets and building strong customer relationships to reach trusted partner status. You will manage the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal, collaborating with customer experience and success teams to ensure a seamless jato experience.
this position involves hybrid working from our mexico city office and requires fluency in both english and spanish, with portuguese being advantageous.
key responsibilities:
1. maintain long-term relationships with customers to achieve trusted partner status.
2. meet revenue targets by ensuring timely renewal of customer contracts.
3. act as the voice of customer, sharing feedback with leadership and stakeholders to influence company direction.
4. conduct quarterly business reviews via teams to enhance customer satisfaction, delivering success plans and actions.
5. identify and resolve customer issues, escalating unresolved problems appropriately.
6. collaborate with key stakeholders impacting the renewal process, utilizing tools like value chain and stakeholder mapping.
7. implement measures to improve customer satisfaction annually, supporting retention and growth.
key requirements:
1. bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. fluent in spanish and english.
3. experience as a sales retention specialist, preferably in data or automotive sectors.
4. strong customer engagement skills, building trust and respect at all organizational levels.
5. proficiency with crm systems and sales technology tools.
6. excellent presentation and motivational skills with a confident personal style.
7. self-motivated, strategic thinker who can also handle details.
8. strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. high it competence, including proficiency in microsoft dynamics crm or salesforce, and microsoft office suite.
