- is responsible of leading the plant to operate and provide products and services with the quality and time expected; in an efficient and cost effective manner while meeting company business targets.
*role*:
- stablish and ensure the plant operates in optimal conditions and safety culture.
- stablish and maintain company processes to ensure maximum capacity and resource utilization.
- develop strategies to achieve qvc targets.
- provide solid, consistent leadership, accountability and mentoring to all employees.
- lead the plant's efforts to develop personnel.
- responsible for p&l of the business unit.
- lead use of tools to improve business conditions such as: icim, shainin, lean, problem solving, etc.
- lead initiatives to reduce cost and increase productivity and delivery.
*background*:
- bachelors in engineering or other required.
- master degree is highly desired.
- bilingual (english/spanish).
- strong use of continuous improvement and problem solving tools: icim/ shainin / other.
- finance knowledge: p&l, forecasting, budgets.
- coaching and management skills.
- flexibility to change: move to other location/ area.
- computer systems such as: microsoft office, minitab, sap are a must.
experience in manufacturing of automotive harnesses (must)
