About the role
we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dcs maintenance technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on our offshore platform, contributing to the delivery of clean and affordable energy solutions.
the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and high levels of equipment functionality and reliability to the facility. They will also support the development of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and ensure its compliance, as well as maintain the plant dcs/plc electronic documentation and virus protection on all equipment.
key responsibilities

* support the development of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and ensure its compliance.
* maintain the plant dcs/plc electronic documentation and virus protection on all equipment.
* select on-site spares for dcs/sis/plc systems.
* assist in updating all graphics, programs, or control schematics.
* propose modifications to ots.
required skills and qualifications
* available to work a 21/21 rotation schedule.
* experience with cryogenic refrigeration, gas processing and gas treatment controls and instrumented systems.
* experience with abb and other icss infrastructure including plcs.
* conversant with automation programming and languages.
* conversant with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
* able to troubleshoot using loop drawing, cause and effect data, schematics, ladder logic, p&ids and other relevant technical/engineering documentation.
* familiarity with regulatory codes and standards related to fixed and floating offshore facilities.
* bilingual (english/spanish).
