Electrical controls technician to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and automation systems. This position will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational efficiency within a dynamic industrial environment in the united states.
key responsibilities:
install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems and industrial machinery.
diagnose electrical and automation issues efficiently to minimize equipment downtime and support production continuity.
support equipment installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop, implement, and improve electrical designs and control systems.
program, test, and debug plcs and hmis for industrial automation applications.
perform troubleshooting and repair of ac/dc motors, drives, sensors, and related electrical components.
ensure all systems and equipment operate safely and comply with applicable standards and regulations.
maintain accurate maintenance and technical documentation for all completed work.
participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of new equipment and processes.
qualifications:
minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, controls, or industrial automation.
strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
experience with plc and hmi systems in industrial environments.
hands-on experience with allen-bradley platforms (rslogix 500, studio *, factorytalk view, etc.) and/or siemens plcs (tia portal preferred).
experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control components.
strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
advanced english communication skills are required.
chinese language skills are considered a plus, but are not required.
valid passport and/or u.s. visa preferred, as the position will involve working in the united states.
