This role focuses on working with a team of pre-silicon verification engineers to verify new and existing features for intel's upcoming cpu ip, ensuring a bug-free final design.
you will be responsible for exhaustively validating the rtl implementation of new architecture and microarchitecture features using standalone and top-level test environments, as well as formal verification.
role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* developing pre-si validation test plans and scenarios to verify design correctness.
* creating software components for simulation-based environments: bus functional models, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches.
* performing and debugging digital simulations and resolving bugs.
* developing test content using scripts and software.
* collaborating closely with design engineers, micro-architects, and team members to ensure high-quality test plans, functional coverage, and tests.
* delivering high-quality output within deadlines and working effectively in a cross-site team environment.

qualifications:
minimum qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
* at least 6 years of relevant experience in:
o hardware description languages (vhdl, verilog, or systemverilog)
o test bench development with systemverilog uvm/ovm
o programming/scripting languages such as c/c++, perl, ruby, python, and unix/linux
o test writing, checker development, coverage analysis, failure debugging, and root cause analysis
* advanced proficiency in english.
must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in mexico (the position does not qualify for employment-based visa sponsorship).
preferred qualifications:
* master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related fields.
* experience with intel architecture isa and system architecture, including x86 assembly language.
* familiarity with industry-standard formal verification tools such as jaspergold, ifv, questa formal, vc formal.
