What you´ll do
- prepare and present regular reports on inventory trends, kpis, cost-saving opportunities and actively support resolution of inventory issues.
- monitor safety stock levels and evaluate obsolete inventory, providing actionable recommendations to optimize inventory.
- manage high-impact projects focused on resolving critical material flow challenges as assigned by leadership.
- lead strategic initiatives to improve the handling of non-conforming materials, driving operational efficiency and measurable cost savings.
- lead blocked inventory reporting for monthly and annual reviews across multiple sites.
- leverage inventory control best practices to ensure accurate system inventory balances of non-conforming materials across manufacturing sites.
- monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counting and physical inventory activities with operations team to ensure accuracy and full compliance with corporate inventory control standards.
- ensure end-to-end material flow of non-conforming inventory—covering supplier correction, rework, or scrap—is accurately documented and appropriately escalated.
- coordinate the removal or transfer of defective materials in compliance with company procedures and maintain system integrity.
- support and monitor planning, disposition, and trials of new materials, changes, and reworks.
- manage additional projects as assigned by leadership.
what makes you a good fit
- bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality environments.
- 1-2 years of experience in root cause analysis and/or continuous improvement.
- hands-on experience with sap (including apo) and proficiency in power bi are strongly preferred.
- strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- self-driven and collaborative with the ability to operate independently.
- ability to challenge the status quo and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
- apics (cpim, cscp) certification is a plus.
