key responsibilities:
* provide gastroenterology care to english-speaking patients including foreign visitors and local residents.
* perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including endoscopies and colonoscopies .
* collect and maintain comprehensive medical histories, reports, and exam results.
* run and interpret clinical tests such as blood work, mri, x-ray, and ultrasound when needed.
* develop treatment plans, prescribe medications and therapies, and adjust care based on patient progress.
* collaborate with and offer guidance to nurses, medical assistants, therapists, and other physicians.
* refer to specialists when appropriate and offer consultative support to the broader clinical team.
requirements (must have)
* 3+ years of proven uninterrupted experience as a gastroenterologist in a hospital setting
* expertise in endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
* proficiency with imaging interpretation (mri, x-ray, ultrasound)
* relevant gastroenterology qualifications and board certifications
* fluent english (spoken and written)
