*position summary*:
we are currently recruiting for a *key account manager* to join our existing industrial air quality team within our power & industrial (p&i) division.
*position responsibilities*:
- key account management based on core aaf’s market focus.
- manage and grow sales for assigned key accounts and acquired oems based in goals and aaf strategy.
- actively develop and follow-up business opportunities. Drive for realization of projects within agreed parameters (price, quality, timing ).
- create sales plan to enter dust collection oem sales channel.
- work with product management to ensure product meets oem needs.
- gain insight on commercial objections and work internally to overcome.
- work with applications and engineering teams to ensure that aaf systems are properly applied, specified, and installed.
- collaborate with marketing, r&d, and product management for business development and selling strategies.
- be an active member of the relevant industry associations to increase visibility of our brand and technical expertise.
- develop and maintain healthy and accurate sales pipeline for sales channel in alignment with bookings and revenue goals using salesforce crm system.
- provide key account/oem input to business management to support new product development, product improvement and entry into new or emerging key accounts/oem.
- maintain a strong understanding of market size, structure, benchmarking, pricing, price updates, target key accounts/oems and competitors in assigned scope.

- demonstrated ability to create business relationships.
- understanding of industrial route to market strategies and ability to leverage those strategies creating direct sales success.

- experience with crm systems, preferably salesforce.
- effective problem - solving, quantitative and business analysis skills, as well as mediation skills.
