we are seeking a skilled and motivated diesel mechanic to join our team. (2nd shift) this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on heavy-duty trucks and machinery, takes pride in precision repairs, and thrives in a fast-paced shop environment.
responsibilities
* diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
* perform routine vehicle inspections, oil changes, brake service, and tire maintenance
* operate diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes
* maintain accurate records of work performed
* ensure all repairs meet safety standards and regulatory compliance
* assist with emergency repairs and field service calls if needed
requirements
* high school diploma or ged; technical certification in diesel mechanics
* minimum of 2 years experience working with diesel vehicles or equipment
* proficient in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools
* strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
* ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various conditions
compensation & benefits
* pay range: $20-30 hour, depending on experience and certifications
