key responsibilities:
- incident and service request management: efficiently manage and resolve incidents and service requests within the servicenow platform, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (slas). - troubleshooting and problem resolution: diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to integrations, business rules, workflows etc. ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption. - on-call support: provide on-call support every other week (monday to sunday) during us est 12 pm to 10 pm for p1 and p2 issues. Respond promptly to pages, coordinate with incident management, and collaborate with level 3 (l3) support teams to resolve critical issues. - collaboration: work closely with the india operate team, client end users, product owners, and developers to hand over tickets and troubleshoot issues effectively. - servicenow sam and tse coordination: collaborate with servicenow account manager and technical support engineers (tse) to report and close hi cases and ensure optimal platform performance. - platform performance monitoring: ensure optimal platform performance by checking various platform indicators and metrics. Proactively identify and address performance issues to maintain system stability. - cloning, upgrades, and plugin management: schedule and coordinate cloning, upgrades, and plugin installations in collaboration with the client manager and offshore operate team, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business needs. - continuous improvement: identify opportunities for process improvements within the servicenow platform and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices. - documentation and reporting: maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting activities. Generate reports and provide insights to management on platform performance and areas for improvement.
qualifications:
- experience: minimum of 5 years of experience in servicenow platform operations, with a strong focus on incident and service request management. - technical skills: proficiency in troubleshooting integrations, business rules, and various servicenow applications, such as procurement and hrsd. - communication skills: strong verbal and written communication skills in english, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global teams. - problem-solving skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues. - on-call availability: willingness to provide on-call support during specified hours and effectively manage high-pressure situations. - certifications: certified system administrator is a must. Certified implementation specialist is preferred.
