Financial analyst
location: tlalnepantla, estado de méxico (centrum)
we are looking for a financial analyst to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and supporting strategic business decisions through financial insights and data-driven recommendations.
key responsibilities:
• prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• analyze financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
• lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the business, including p&l and balance sheet planning.
• develop financial models and projections to support business planning and decision-making.
• evaluate the financial impact of new projects, investments, and product launches.
• partner with sales, operations, and procurement teams to understand financial implications and improve business performance.
• prepare cash flow projections and perform cash flow analysis.
• support internal and external audit activities.
• identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency.
qualifications:
• bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, fp&a, corporate finance, or controlling.
• advanced excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; macros are a plus).
• experience working with erp systems such as sap, oracle, or similar.
• intermediate to advanced english.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.

• ownership of budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• variance analysis.

• cash flow analysis.
• profitability analysis.
• experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment is a plus.
