We are seeking an experienced automation consultant with strong expertise in process discovery, requirements documentation, and delivery coordination, ideally within automation and ai-driven initiatives.this role requires a highly autonomous professional who is comfortable leading structured process walkthroughs, challenging ambiguities, and translating complex business workflows into well-defined functional documentation that supports automation development teams.the ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring automation solutions align with documented requirements and deliver measurable business value.key responsibilities1. Process discovery & requirements gatheringlead structured process discovery sessions with smes and business stakeholders.drive discussions, clarify ambiguities, and uncover automation opportunities.document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.independently create comprehensive process design documents (pdds) including:as-is process documentationforward-looking to-be process designs (including swim lanes and visio diagrams)business rules, edge cases, and exception handlingtest scenarios, uat criteria, and defined success metrics2. Requirements validation & delivery coordinationpartner closely with developers and solution architects to:track development progress against documented requirementsvalidate implemented automations against approved pddssupport functional testing and business validation effortsensure full requirements traceability from discovery through uat and deployment.3. Project execution & agile supportactively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.coordinate and support user acceptance testing (uat) activities.assist in defect triage and resolution tracking.collaborate with the project manager to prioritize automation initiatives and manage the product backlog.required qualifications4+ years of experience as a business analyst, leading process walkthroughs and requirements discovery engagements.strong experience creating process design documents (pdds) independently.demonstrated ability to drive discussions with stakeholders and manage requirement ambiguity.experience supporting automation or digital transformation initiatives.strong documentation skills and attention to detail.experience working in agile environments.nice to havefoundational knowledge of automation & ai platformsbasic understanding of enterprise automation and ai tools such as:ui pathpower automateclaudegemini prokey competenciesstrong analytical and critical thinking skillsability to work independently with minimal supervisionstrong stakeholder communication and facilitation skillsprocess-oriented mindset with attention to detailability to translate business needs into technical-ready documentation
