Job description
main responsibilities:

develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define supplier quality requirements and specifications.
Investigate and resolve complex supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (capa).
Monitor supplier performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
Lead new supplier qualification processes and participate in supplier selection.
Manage and track supplier non-conformances, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers on quality standards, processes, and tools.
Participate in new product development (npd) projects to ensure supplier readiness and quality during all phases.
Prepare and present regular reports on supplier quality performance and improvement efforts to management.

Required skills and education
bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing) or a related technical field.
