we are hiring an
*ebusiness consultant* who will be the primary business consultant between steelcase na e-business customers, internal steelcase customers and wfh programs, proactively developing and supporting multiple lines of business for ecommerce and non-aligned dealers.
*what you will be doing*:
- understands the steelcase order fulfillment value stream, and optimizes supply chain, manufacturing, and delivery efficiencies, resulting in a phenomenal customer experience.
- manages the wfh programs and steelcase store orders through the order fulfillment process from receipt of order to final installation and has responsibility for customer complaint resolution.
- aware of and supports lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
- understands the health and well-being of the customers through performance measures and plays the role of the customer advocate to quality and manufacturing management for awareness and drives process improvement.
- understands the importance and value of creating a great customer experience to add value to the steelcase brand.
- can develop and maintain long-term customer relationships to help driving sales thru and outstanding customer experience.
- accountable for customer satisfaction goals, along with the execution of strategies that support those goals.
- serves as a project manager for non-standard delivery of products that include installation with third-party vendors.
*who you are*:
*required skills and competencies*
- bachelor's degree in business, international relations, commerce or equivalent
- 1 - 3-year experience in a similar position
- basic sap knowledge- basic excel knowledge-
- excellent written and verbal communication in english-
- availability to travel - valid current visa and passport*preferred skills and competencies*
- good customer service and order management skills
- displays the ability to adapt based on work conditions and management of various time sensitive tasks.
- subject matter expert in current assignment
- ability to identify and implement remedial corrective action for order management problems or issues.
- have an awareness of continuous improvement/lean methodology and involved in this of projects.
- excellent communicator, written and verbal and able to organize thoughts and information before sharing, solid negotiating ability.
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- strong analytical and decision-making skills to provide sound solutions to complex business issues
- expert interpersonal skills
- display the ability to adapt based on work conditions and management of various time sensitive tasks.
- self-motivated, self-directed, self-starter and willing to accept responsibility for results; committed to excellence: accuracy in work and attention to detail; sets high goals and standards for self and others.
- demonstrate poise and confidence when presenting information to any size group. Has ability to lead pre-order meetings with customers, field sales contacts and installers.
- you understand technology used to support order management activities (i.e. Sap, sharepoint, excel, im, tp)
- must understand corporate strategies w/emphasis on web business strategies
- able to work with internal steelcase departments to fulfill dealer orders and resolve problems.
- must have proven follow-up and follow-through skills
