role summary
as a key member of the global information technology (git) team, you will streamline and improve business processes from the it side by providing expert sap and supply chain technical solutions. Reporting to the git associate manager, you will own the analysis, design, and implementation of it solutions for global quality to support our supply chain strategy. Your primary focus will be the successful delivery and support of quality–related projects, sap qm based and other systems to support critical business priorities.
responsibilities
- lead the end-to-end design and configuration of sap qm modules and their integration with mm, pp, sd, and pm to ensure seamless quality management across the global supply chain.
- drive project lifecycles by leading requirement gathering workshops, blueprinting, system configuration, and hypercare support for small to medium-sized global projects.
- optimize business performance by identifying and assessing new technologies (such as qms or lims) that add measurable value to global supply chain operations.
- partner with cross‐functional git stakeholders, including risk management and global development, to ensure solutions align with git 5 steps methodology and global standards.
- maintain system reliability by providing expert it support and issue resolution in accordance with global slas and standard operating procedures.
required qualifications
- bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an sap qm functional analyst or supply chain consultant specialized on sap qm configuration.
- proven experience completing at least two full lifecycle sap implementations (from requirement gathering through post‐go‐live support).
- professional fluency in both english and spanish with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
- deep technical knowledge of sap qm and lo-bm modules.
preferred qualifications
- professional certification in project management (e.g., pmp) or experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
- functional or technical knowledge of additional sap supply chain modules, including pp, mm, le, wm, or ewm.
- familiarity with third‐party quality solutions such as etq reliance qms or ladvantage lims.
