our uber advertising sales team is looking for a sr client partner to accelerate our growth within the non-endemic industries in mexico.
you will partner with the country's largest and most representative brands, owning the strategy and performance of your vertical end-to-end. This role requires strong ownership, proactive leadership, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for bridging uber's massive first‐party mobility and delivery data with your clients' specific marketing objectives. You aren't just selling media; you are building long‐term, data‐driven strategies that help brands reach consumers during high‐intent, real‐world moments.
what the candidate will do
* develop and execute advertising partnership strategies that deliver on partner marketing objectives and consistently exceed quarterly growth targets
* build and maintain strong relationships with director, vp, and c‐level marketing leaders across mexico's leading financial institutions
* lead consultative, solution‐oriented conversations, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and guiding partners toward win‐win outcomes
* drive adoption of advertising products across uber's mobility and delivery platforms, clearly articulating value and differentiation in a competitive landscape
* create and scale compelling pitch narratives that showcase the power of uber's data and drive measurable growth for finance partners
* act as the voice of the customer, partnering closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to inform and shape future ads product roadmaps
* collaborate cross‐functionally to ensure seamless execution and strong partner outcomes
* contribute to building team culture by wearing multiple hats, supporting teammates, and helping grow the ads business from the ground up
what you'll need
* proven experience in digital advertising sales, with a strong understanding of programmatic solutions and upper‐funnel media strategies
* ability to negotiate complex deals and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization
* strong analytical skills and comfort using data to support sales narratives and performance discussions
* excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex products and data into compelling, client‐relevant narratives
bonus points
* 5+ years of experience in end‐to‐end digital advertising sales, managing large customer sales (lcs) or strategic accounts
* experience selling advertising solutions to large, sophisticated brands
* demonstrated success building executive‐level relationships and executing strategic sales plans that drive long‐term value
* ability to translate complex data into clear, quantifiable opportunities that influence senior decision‐makers
* strong negotiation and problem‐solving skills, with a partnership‐first mindset
* a proactive, resourceful attitude and comfort navigating ambiguity in fast‐paced environments
