in this role, you will work independently, act as a subject matter expert, and contribute directly to critical projects. You'll be involved in strategic discussions, define test approaches, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.
key responsibilities:
design and implement comprehensive test strategies for restful apis and backend systems.
translate product and system requirements into detailed, actionable test plans and test cases.
execute functional, integration, regression, and accessibility testing.
monitor and analyze test results, report defects, and follow through on resolution.
collaborate closely with development, product, and devops teams to improve testing processes.
drive automation best practices and contribute to ci/cd pipelines.
required qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on rest api testing .
proficient in creating and executing manual and automated tests.
solid understanding of testing principles, sdlc, and agile methodologies.
experience using tools for test case management and bug tracking (e.g., jira, testrail).
strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
nice to have:
hands-on experience with cucumber, cypress, testng, postman, and/or playwright .
familiarity with performance and security testing.
experience working with test mocks, stubs, and complex testing environments.
intermediate to advanced english communication skills.
