Product validation specialist
we are seeking a product validation specialist to support vehicle engineering in the implementation of quality requirements.
the successful candidate will monitor consistency to global metric definitions and performance, maintain documentation of launch manufacturing quality readiness reviews, and actively participate in plant quality manager meetings and launch quality manager meetings.
the ideal candidate will have proficiency and knowledge of the elements of the gm quality system/gms biq and the quality launch plan, as well as the ability to coach, teach, and audit elements of the gm quality manual and gms biq principles and elements.
* manage projects as requested from the quality shop director.
* present assembly plant and engineering staff with clear problem definition, technical mentorship on complex problems, and regular updates on progress.
* support the launch of new products in the plant when applicable.
* maintain updates to quality requirements.
* monitor cost of quality reports by plant.
