*key responsibilities*:
process audits:
- conduct regular process audits to identify deviations from standard operating procedures and quality standards.
- identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Corrective actions:
- develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Customer complaints investigation:
- investigate customer complaints and claims to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- collaborate with customers to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
Problem solving and 8d:
- lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective solutions.
Quality metrics and reporting:
- track and analyze quality metrics, including customer claims, reworks, and scrap.
- provide regular reports to management on quality performance and initiatives.
Collaboration and communication:
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.
- communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
- bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related field).
- minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles.
- experience with process audits, corrective actions, and problem-solving methodologies (8d, root cause analysis, etc.).
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- knowledge of quality management systems (iso 9001, etc.) is a plus.
*preferred skills*:
- experience with chillers products or similar industries (hvac, refrigeration, etc.).
- familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- certification in quality engineering (cqe, etc.) or six sigma is a plus.
