As a Principal Instrument Engineer, you will support Chief Engineer to manage instrument department, and act as Lead Engineer for projects to support strategic business growth.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in with LNG experience designs, implements, and manages instrument and control systems for liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, requiring expertise in process automation, safety systems, field instruments, and projects from conceptual design (FEED) through detail engineering and operations.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Principal Instrument Engineer to join our team in Bangkok Office, Thailand
The role responsibilities include:
- Assisting asset/client Lead Project Engineers in the definition of the engineering work in any project, design approach and criteria, procedures for engineering work and timely production of deliverables
- Acting as Lead Engineer for projects when required
- Complete a complex design activity including simulation
- Liaison with other discipline Lead engineers on technical issues and engineering matters.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor of Engineering (Instrument & Control Engineering) or equivalent
- A minimum of 20 years of professional experience in instrumentation and control systems, with a significant focus on Oil & Gas or Petrochemical applications, specifically LNG
- LNG experience designs, implements, and manages instrument and control systems for liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, requiring expertise in process automation, safety systems, field instruments, and projects from conceptual design (FEED) through detail engineering and operations.
