the marketing director is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the hotel's brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and position the property as a leading luxury destination.

this role oversees digital marketing, branding, pr, advertising, and promotional campaigns while ensuring alignment with the hotel's business objectives.

key responsibilities:

1. develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotel's luxury positioning, dining outlets, spa, events, and guest experiences.
\
2. maintain and strengthen the hotel's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels (website, social media, print, etc.).
\
3. lead digital marketing efforts, including seo/sem, email marketing, paid advertising (google ads, meta, etc.), and content strategy.
\
4. collaborate with pr agencies and media outlets to secure coverage in luxury travel publications, blogs, and broadcast channels.
\
5. handle crisis communications and maintain a positive brand reputation.
\
6. plan and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (print, digital, ota partnerships, etc.).
\
7. develop seasonal promotions, packages, and partnerships with luxury brands or local attractions.
\
8. monitor campaign performance and roi, adjusting strategies as needed.
\
9. supervise the production of high-quality visual and written content (photos, videos, blogs, newsletters).
\
10. ensure all marketing materials reflect the hotel's luxury standards and appeal to target audiences.
\
11. track kpis (website traffic, conversion rates, social engagement, revenue impact) and prepare regular reports for management.
\
12. use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and budget allocation.
\
13. bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field.
\
14. ~5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in luxury hotels/resorts or tourism.
\
15. ~ strong expertise in digital marketing (seo, sem, social media, email automation tools).
\
16. ~ proficiency in analytics tools (google analytics, meta business suite, crm systems).
\
17. ~ excellent communication skills in english and spanish (written and spoken).
\
18. ~ creative thinker with strong project management and leadership abilities.
