We are modernizing our systems and processes by moving from legacy platforms (quickbooks + aspire erp) to netsuite to better support inventory management, order processing, reporting, and long-term scalability.
position overview
we are seeking a skilled netsuite implementation specialist to lead and execute the transition to netsuite erp. This role will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring netsuite, managing data migration, and ensuring smooth adoption across multiple departments (finance, inventory, sales, and warehouse operations). The role is 100% remote and will require close collaboration with leadership, accounting, sales, and warehouse teams.
key responsibilities
system implementation & configuration
* configure netsuite modules for financials, inventory, purchasing, sales orders, invoicing, and reporting.
* customize dashboards, workflows, and saved searches to meet business needs (e.g., warehouse dashboards, commission reporting, backorder management).
* support requirements for tiered customer pricing, alternate items, consolidated invoicing, and custom reporting.
* set up approval processes, purchase to order (pto) workflows, and customer-specific pricing.
data migration & integration
* oversee migration of master data from quickbooks and aspire erp into netsuite (customers, vendors, items, pricing).
* cleanse and validate data prior to migration.
* support integration with external systems such as logicblock (ecommerce), shipping carriers (ups/fedex/shipcentral), and other potential 3rd party tools (routing, epod).
business process alignment
* work with stakeholders to map existing workflows (sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing, fulfillment, commissions).
* propose best-practice netsuite solutions where possible, minimizing unnecessary customizations.
* implement features such as backorder tracking, cartonization, route management (3rd party add-ons as needed), and alternate item substitution.
testing & training
* develop and execute test plans to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
* train users across departments (finance, sales, warehouse, management) on new workflows.
* provide documentation and sops for key processes.
* post-implementation support
* monitor system adoption, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune workflows.
* provide ongoing recommendations for improvements and scalability.
qualifications
* required
* proven track record of at least 3–5 years of hands-on netsuite implementation experience.
* strong knowledge of financials, inventory management, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay cycles.
* experience with multi-entity organizations and consolidated reporting.
* ability to configure custom workflows, saved searches, and user dashboards.
* experience in data migration from legacy erp/accounting systems.
* excellent english communication skills (written and verbal).
preferred
* experience integrating netsuite with ecommerce platforms (e.g., logicblock, shopify, etc.).
* familiarity with warehouse processes: bin management, wms, cartonization, ups/fedex label creation.
* knowledge of commission structures, customer-specific pricing, and reporting customization.
* prior erp work with b2b or wholesale distribution companies.key skills
