* create and implement maintenance procedures. Timely inform the executive team of potential hazardous situations or risks that the buildings or services might have. Propose emergency action plans to address risks. Collaborate with whs personnel in implementing plans and “brigadas de auxilio”. Ensure that all facilities and installations comply with mandatory and legal regulations and that personnel in charge are trained. Plan the maintenance schedule according to the company's long-term vision and operating standards, considering preventive, predictive, corrective, or mixed actions. Support the preparation of cost estimates required by the management of vpe mexico. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations. Participate in, review, and approve the conceptual and basic engineering for projects assigned to vpe building group mexico, including in cdmx (corporate building, engineering building facilities). Ensure compliance with training programs for the building group coordinated by the supervisor.
* supervise that internal and external facilities personnel comply with regulations and the implementation of daily activities. Ensure the good condition of the organization's assets, including equipment, machinery, and facilities. Monitor and ensure proper performance of company equipment and control the status of facilities to keep them in working condition. Prepare scope of work (engineering / architecture / services) for buildings and civil works in different plants of mexico. Follow up on projects (scope, cost, time) using appropriate tools and methodologies, from assignment to delivery. Ensure application of all standards, corporate specifications, and governmental, environmental, safety methodologies.
* experience in the implementation and construction of civil and electromechanical works, including maintenance across these specialties, in buildings, exterior areas, and civil works.
* minimum 8+ years of experience in civil engineering or architecture related to constructing industrial buildings and warehouses or similar fields.
* team management and supervision experience.
* bachelor's degree in architecture and/or civil engineering.
* advanced proficiency in english.
* certifications/licenses: knowledge of iso 9001 - 2015, iso 14001-2015.
* postgraduate courses in architectural design, building systems, engineering costs, management, and leadership.
* proficiency in structural design software, cad, simulation, costs, supervision, construction management, and environmental quality management systems audit.
* competence in microsoft office, sap, cad, project wise, and environmental management systems.
* ensure compliance with quality and environmental management systems according to iso 9001 and 14001 standards during daily activities in facilities projects and civil engineering in mexico's manufacturing sector.
* knowledge of governmental requirements and follow-ups for obtaining construction licenses, including agencies like sema, salud, vialidad, protección civil, desarrollo urbano, ecología, etc., across different locations such as cdmx, state of mexico, and others.
