Project Coordinator – Major Integral Sporting Event (Mexico – Polanco)

Our client is delivering a Tour Operator Program for the 2026 World Cup across the USA, Mexico, and Canada – and they are looking for a Project Coordinator based in Mexico City – Polanco to help make it happen.
This is a 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension, perfect for someone looking to contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime global event.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project phases and ensure governance documentation is up to date.
- Monitor KPIs, maintain risk registers, and provide regular health checks on delivery progress.
- Support commercial and operational workflows across flights, accommodation, and ground transport.
- Build and maintain Excel-based reporting dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Support readiness planning and compliance monitoring to meet event service levels.
- Facilitate smooth collaboration between local and international teams.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in project coordination or PMO support (ideally with travel or events exposure).
- Knowledge of tour operator, group travel, or hospitality services is highly desirable.
- Advanced skills in Excel and comfortable with SharePoint and Power Automate tools.
- Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and the ability to work across geographies.
- Proactive, resilient, and able to deliver in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
