As a sr procurement project specialist - indirect, you will execute procurement excellence strategies to facilitate effective deployment of new business systems, processes and best practices to improve solstice advanced materials indirect procurement results.
You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact indirect procurement functional excellence projects that move the business forward. You will help your team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding the status and progress of these projects.
Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business users by providing high quality training to enable rapid adoption and ramp up of new systems.
Ensure written and visual trainings available are incorporated into an overall sourcing training strategy, which encompasses business systems and new employee orientation guidelines.
Key responsibilities
1) oversees and coordinates the operational and strategy creation aspects of functional excellence procurement projects.
2) manage and improve data visibility within erp systems, improve data accuracy and drive system enhancements.
3) lead process and automation improvement projects to drive a more efficient indirect procurement organization.
4) responsible for indirect procurement kpis to ensure visibility, deployment and improvement of the metrics.
5) lead uat for new enhancements, communicate and train buyers within procurement organization.
6) responsible for driving efficiency by focusing on pr to po automation and work directly with procurement buyers, plant/site leaders, sap team and other related stakeholders.
7) manage and lead monthly trainings with procurement buyers. Train buyers on basic and technical concepts and manage day to day queries.
8) responsible for implementing best practices, ability to define and document business requirement document (brd) for new enhancement.
9) ability to understand interconnect with different systems included but not limited to ariba scc to enable and simplify supplier onboarding.
10) strong communicator to tie out with procurement leadership on tools, processes, systems and dashboards updates, upcoming enhancements, challenges and future roadmap.
11) ability to explore industry best practices and tools to be implemented into the organization.
You must have
- bachelor's degree.
- minimum 4 years of proven experience in procurement and project management roles working with sap and/or other erp.
- digital transformation experience.
- experience working with it teams.
- strong data management skills and data structure knowledge.
- experience working with supply chain collaboration portals.
- advance microsoft excel and powerpoint skills
