*job summary*
we are seeking a detail-oriented mexico social security payroll analyst to join general motors de mexico. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with social security regulations, leveraging strong financial acumen and proficiency in social security systems
*responsibilities*:
- process and reconcile social security contributions (imss & infonavit) and related payroll data in compliance with mexican regulations.
- analyze payroll data for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
- prepare and submit required social security reports to government agencies.
- analyze variances and determine if should be paid to the government
- collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial statement reporting related to payroll and social security.
- utilize microsoft office suite (excel, word, powerpoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- perform the new hires, leavers and salary modifications according with (social security) imss regulations
- support payroll activities within sap systems.
- stay updated on changes in social security laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
- assist with internal and external audits related to payroll and social security.
*job qualifications*
- proven experience in payroll processing, with a strong focus on social security contributions in mexico.
- exceptional detail-oriented approach to data entry and analysis.
- proficiency in microsoft office suite, particularly excel
- familiarity with sap payroll modules is highly desirable.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
