role overview
this is a high-impact, high-activity role focused on outbound prospecting. The bdr will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities by booking discovery calls for the sales team. This is a call-heavy position requiring consistency, resilience, and strong communication skills.
key responsibilities
* execute high-volume outbound outreach (50–100 calls per day)
* identify and engage bakery and distributor owners across north america
* qualify prospects and schedule discovery calls for account executives
* maintain accurate records of outreach and activity in hubspot
* use tools like apollo to source and manage leads
* collaborate closely with the sales team to improve messaging and conversion
requirements
* 2–4+ years of experience in a bdr/sdr or similar outbound sales role
* experience in startup or agency environments (highly preferred)
* strong independence and ability to operate in a small, fast-paced team
* excellent spoken and written english (mandatory)
* tech-savvy, with experience using crm and outbound tools (e.g., hubspot, apollo)
* proven track record in high-volume outbound prospecting
nice to have
* experience selling saas or tech solutions
* familiarity with erp systems or b2b sales
