join us as our new category demand manager and play a key role in securing reliable product availability across our worldwide supply chain. In this role, you'll drive demand planning excellence, collaborate with stakeholders across regions, and help shape a resilient and customer-focused product portfolio.

key responsibilities
* determine which products should be stocked at each warehouse location and review these decisions regularly.
* monitor demand trends for the product portfolio and adjust forecasts proactively.
* stay aligned with stakeholders on market and regulatory developments and changes in customer buying behavior.
* coordinate closely with area inventory planning on supply availability and regional planning needs.
* work with commercial teams to gather customer forecasts and improve forecast accuracy.
* review and follow up on supply chain requests specific to the product portfolio.
* plan and manage smooth product phase-ins and phase-outs.
* monitor monthly lost sales and identify root causes within the product portfolio.
* maintain accurate planning data in the inventory system, including moq, buffer levels, and reorder settings.
* support procurement with initial buys for new products, including lead times, configuration, and minimum order quantities.
* track and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
* provide input on product reshuffling opportunities during global inventory optimization exercises.
* ensure all planning and product management activities comply with regulatory, quality, safety, environmental, and labour standards.
who you are
* master's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in economics, business, or supply chain.
* solid knowledge of erp systems and inventory planning tools.
* minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
* strong communication skills in a multinational environment.
* able to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively in teams.
* comfortable working across functions and with both internal and external stakeholders.
* analytical, structured, and commercially minded.
* excellent english skills, both written and spoken.
* ability to present complex analysis in a clear, simple way.
* curious, proactive, and systematic in approach.
