we have a position for an internet of things (io t) / telematics (connectivity)
systems engineer to assist with the interface between digital and embedded
engine controls.
what you will be doing:
defining the interface between embedded controls and digital provide system requirements for three new operating systems, gtis 5.0, cybersecurity, product registration, and auto sar work in tandem with software/system architect(s) to translate business requirements into software design. Develop requirements based on internal development standards and industry conventions. Examples of design artifacts including but not limited to software requirements and design documents, uml class diagrams, sequence diagrams, yaml/json files for api definitions, and software unit tests. Support system integration, validation, and field troubleshooting activities related to software developed.

what you'll need to be successful:
be/btech/bsc/bca/me/mtech/mca in computer science or related field systems engineering certification or training or experience is required. Safe agile or agile software development experience is highly desired. Project/program management experience is required. Familiarity/exposure to io t platforms and devices is highly desired. Minimum 2-year work experience in connectivity (or related such as car multimedia, etc.) domain is highly desired. Familiarity with system architecture and industry best practices for embedded application development is highly desired. Experience with embedded controls is highly desired.
