responsible for managing resources to coordinate and execute activities focused on achieving results aligned with the organization's established performance indicators.
main functions
* ehs: management of risk conditions to prevent accidents (proper use of ppe and closure of sas cards).
* verification and implementation of compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
* leadership in the investigation and closure of incidents and/or accidents.
* classification and proper handling of waste.
* identification and control of chemical substances.
* ehr: management of human, material, and equipment resources to meet production volumes and cost targets.
* development of strategies to ensure compliance with the production schedule, according to customer deadlines.
* monitoring of performance indicators such as earned hours and pph (parts per hour) according to the production plan.
* leadership of the cme team in developing work plans focused on continuous improvement and achievement of organizational goals.
* scrap (quality control): ensure control and containment of non‑conforming parts per operation.
* lead the cme team in generating action plans to reduce defective parts.
* ensure compliance with work instructions within the area (form completion, adherence to control plans, etc.).
* personnel management: ensure monthly compliance with ilu 3x1 and 1x3 certification programs.
* manage and control personnel issues (unjustified absences, overtime, time‑off requests, vacations, and disciplinary actions).
* co‑lead strategies to reduce turnover and absenteeism rates.
* promote a positive work environment aligned with the company's code of ethics.
minimum qualifications
* education: industrial engineering or related field.
* experience: 2+ years in similar positions within the manufacturing industry.
* technical skills: experience with oracle or mrp systems, lean tools, microsoft office, and problem‑solving methodologies.
* knowledge: familiarity with management systems (iso*, iatf, etc.).
* language: intermediate proficiency in english.
