Document Controller
How You Will Do It:
- Management and Implementation of the Document Control procedure, document workflows and work instructions that meet the Company requirements and Client Project Contractual obligations.
- Development & management of a master database to reference all projects – past & present.
- Manage production, storage and updating of product technical submittals including technical drawings, and product manuals to a consistent high-quality format.
- Manage version control, revision history and filing/storage of all engineering & project documentation in line with best practice.
- Manage product testing records (factory acceptance and site acceptance testing) library using consistent templates.
- Manage engineering document register.
- Manage engineering technical information database.
- Conform to company and project style guidelines, and ensure documentation meets the needs of the business and the customer.
- Implement departmental processes for the development, management, and control of documentation.
- Manage the flow of documentation and information internally and externally.
- Supporting all PMs with adherence and completion to/of external workstreams/doc management applications such as Compass, Procore, EIDA etc.
- Providing administration and coordination services for document management systems and support the site using the system including access control.
- Managing all aspects relating to the issuance, distribution, and reconciliation of controlled documents.
- Managing and filing documentation and records and assisting with the archiving.
What We Look For:
- Proven experience in managing teams and organizing document control department.
- 2+ years of personnel planning & scheduling – project management or event planning experience but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proven experience with regard to Doc Control across multiple projects and systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills are preferable.
- Self-starter, team player, flexible.
- Very well organized, solution-oriented, and adaptable.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines.
