Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior eCommerce Architect to lead the evolution of a large-scale digital commerce ecosystem.
This role is responsible for defining and governing architecture decisions across domains, ensuring alignment with corporate technology strategy, architectural principles, and long-term digital transformation goals.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in software architecture, digital commerce platforms (preferably VTEX), cross-domain integrations, and omnichannel strategy, combined with strong leadership capabilities.
This is a long-term opportunity with year-round demand and is not limited to a specific region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the evolution of the digital commerce ecosystem with a holistic technical vision aligned with enterprise architecture strategy.
* Collaborate directly with engineering teams to design cross-domain technical solutions at construction, product, and business logic levels.
* Define and contribute to future-state (“to-be”) architecture solutions aligned with corporate technology strategy at C3 and C4 architectural levels.
* Document architectural decisions and trade-offs, especially those involving cross-domain integrations.
* Support the definition and adoption of technology standards, design patterns, and architectural guidelines.
* Align tactical architectural decisions with strategic architecture roles across domains.
* Guide digital commerce platform development, ideally within VTEX environments.
* Ensure architecture supports omnichannel business capabilities and customer-first strategies.
* Coordinate and oversee initiatives, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across digital commerce solutions.
* Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and development opportunities for engineering teams.
* Promote compliance with corporate policies, ethical standards, and governance frameworks.
