about the role
as a payroll specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our unionized workforce in monterrey. Your work will directly impact employee satisfaction and operational efficiency, contributing to a positive workplace experience.
key responsibilities
as a payroll specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* managing payroll for unionized personnel
* capturing and calculating employee sick leave and disability (incapacidades)
* receiving and processing weekly payroll incidents
* reconciling and validating overtime
* processing weekly payroll runs
* handling employee terminations
* performing general ledger (gl) reconciliations
* managing saving fund reconciliations
requirements
we are looking for people who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
as a minimum, you must have:
* experience in payroll processing, preferably with unionized employees
* knowledge of mexican labor laws and payroll regulations
* strong analytical and reconciliation skills
* proficiency in payroll systems and microsoft excel
* ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
* experience with utec-mx or similar payroll platforms
* prior experience in a multinational company
* intermediate to advanced english proficiency
