quality engineer (electronic industry)
full-time, on site: el salto, jalisco.
we are looking for a quality engineer (electronics industry) with atleast 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the electronics sector. This role involves ensuring the quality of raw materials, subassemblies and finished products through inspection plans, process and product audits, and the implementation of tools such as pfmea and control plans. Responsible for compliance with the integrated management system (ims) within his area, including the documentation, training and supervision of the personnel under their charge. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 70% fluency in english language.
key responsibilities
* develop and implement inspection plans for raw materials and production lines.
* perform process and product audits.
* generate, maintain and update documentation of the quality area (receipt inspection and quality in process).
* follow up on non-compliant products and coordinate containment and improvement actions.
* lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* keep the pfmea, control plans and visual acceptability criteria updated.
* participate as an internal auditor of the ims.
* train personnel in quality procedures and standards.
required knowledge and skills:
* quality management systems.
* pfmea and control plans.
* statistical process control (spc).
* multimeter handling (verification of resistances and capacitances).
* microsoft office (excel, word, powerpoint) and email.
* knowledge of ipc-a-610 (desirable).
* preparation of manuals and training courses (desirable).
