*objective*:
we are looking for a hands-on, proactive operations manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes full ownership of processes and results.
this role requires a team player with high drive and a passion for continuous improvement.
you'll lead and optimize all operations activities—including production, logistics, warehouse, quality—to ensure our products meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
*key responsibilities*:
- lead and manage daily operations, directly supporting and coaching front-line leaders to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- oversee production schedules, material flow, and resource planning to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize throughput.
- be present on the floor—removing obstacles, supporting teams, and modeling a "lead by example" approach.
- analyze performance data and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
- ensure accurate and timely reporting of key operational metrics.
- partner with quality, engineering, and planning to resolve issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- establish, validate, and enforce standard operating procedures (sops) across operations.
- drive improvements in layout, workflow, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency.
- balance a solutions-driven mindset with the judgment to recognize when to set limits or say "no" to protect priorities, safety, and standards.
*qualifications*
- 5+ years of experience in operations or production leadership roles.
- bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- bilingual: english and spanish required.
- strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- highly comfortable in a hands-on environment.
- proven track record of driving continuous improvement and leading teams through change.
