as a senior finance manager on the operations finance team, you will report to the senior finance director.
your focus will be on driving performance, maintaining a strong control environment, and supporting and developing finance teams in all inclusive hotels.what you'll do during a typical day:- conduct hotel control reviews to ensure compliance with usali, hilton's policies and regulatory requirements.
- support forecasting and budgeting process with focus on performance and achieving all inclusive kpi's following industry benchmarks.
- support recruitment and development of the finance team at hotel levelhow you'll collaborate with others:- work in close collaboration with the senior regional finance director analyze data, present reports for use by the area vp operations and other leaders.
- manage interdisciplinary processes and communication between finance and other departments, finance shared services, fp&a, legal, tax, hr and others.
- interact with hotel general managers, external auditors and owners regarding relevant issues, including financial performance and the internal control environmentprojects you'll take ownership of:- support and follow up achievement of productivity standards as defined per the labor management system- lead actions required for a successful hotel opening or conversion- oversee and evaluate all inclusive projects and related business processeswhat it takes to make the stayyou have these minimum qualifications:- one (1) year of work experience supporting all-inclusive properties- two (2) years of experience in finance/accounting leadership roles- experience with excel, office 360, sun systems or recognized financial system- experience with hyperion or recognized forecasting system- travel up to 70%- fluent in english and spanish - communication skills, speaking, reading, writing and presentingit would be useful if you have:- three (3) years of work experience in all inclusive finance/accounting leadership roles- bachelor's degree in finance or related field- previous experience managing finance aspects of hotel openings and closures- knowledge of hotel property management systems and food and beverage point of sales systemshow we'll help you thrive- incredible travel perks – enjoy 110 nights of deeply discounted travel, with room rates as low as $40 usd/night at our world-class hotels through our go hilton travel program- paid parental leave – because family matters.
