What does an fp&a & marketing finance analyst do?
the fp&a and marketing finance analyst acts as a critical bridge between financial data integrity and marketing strategy. You will support the commercial and marketing teams as a true business partner, adding value by providing accurate financial analysis, controlling budget execution, and ensuring data consistency.

you are an analytical thinker with a passion for accuracy and details. This position ensures financial information precision while maximizing opportunities and minimizing deviations. You provide essential financial analysis and support in actions related to forecasting, month‑end closing, and reporting. You are capable of navigating between technical tasks—such as account reconciliations and process documentation—and strategic tasks, like tracking financial aspects that affect short‑ and long‑term marketing decisions.
responsibilities
with our consumer at the heart, your key responsibilities will be to:
* business partnering: act as the financial point of contact for marketing and commercial teams. Support them with the "right numbers" and analysis to make informed decisions regarding brand investments (a&p), projects, and market opportunities.
* reporting & analysis: perform deep‑deive analysis of financial data. Prepare and distribute monthly performance reports, ensuring visibility on kpis for each area.
* budget control & forecasting: support the monthly forecast process and the annual planning cycle, ensuring alignment between financial goals and marketing activities.
* financial integrity & reconciliation: execute precise financial reconciliations between accounts (actuals vs. Budget/forecast). Ensure data consistency across systems and validate the accuracy of marketing spend and accruals.
* month‑end support: actively participate in the monthly closing process, ensuring all marketing and structure investment expenses are correctly recorded and analysed in a timely manner.
* process documentation: maintain and improve documentation of financial processes and reporting standards to ensure knowledge management and audit readiness.

* technical proficiency: advanced mastery of office (excel is a must). Experience with sap and power bi (or similar visualization tools) is highly valued for reporting automatization.
* education: bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or engineering.
* language: spanish and english.
* mindset: detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn about the spirits industry.
