They assist the senior project manager in managing control documents, client contact, reporting, and weekly meetings. project manager responsibilities
* responsible for the entire project(s) from start to finish, acting as the project leader.
* manage the bidding and construction phase by distributing bid packages to contractors, scheduling pre‑bid conferences, and reviewing contractor bids to present to the client.
* provide construction phase services as construction management in coordination with the senior project manager.
* review contractor construction documents, daily and weekly reports, lead weekly construction meetings, review contractor submittals and engineering drawings, track the construction schedule, and review estimate payments.
* lead weekly meetings at construction sites.
* manage the contractor on all site‑related issues, coordinate inspections, and focus on time, cost, quality, codes, and safety in line with approved engineering and submittals throughout the construction process.
* follow up on the delivery of ending documents and as‑built drawings.
project manager qualifications
* knowledge of construction management based on pmi.
* experience with major earthworks and infrastructure projects.
* knowledge of industrial developments preferred.
* bachelor’s degree in an architectural‑related program preferred.
* minimum of 5 years experience in industrial site supervision.
* strong computer and written and verbal communication skills essential.
* experience with procore, newforma, autocad, revit, microsoft word, microsoft project, microsoft excel, and microsoft teams preferred.
* ability to speak english and spanish (public speaking) in front of small to large groups preferred.
* leadership of small to larger project teams.
* knowledge of local and international construction codes.
