*position overview*
we are currently seeking a resource management analyst in a full-time remote position supporting mx and north america clients from our remote, méxico (mx-mex), mexico (mx) office.
*day-to-day duties*:
- responsible for end-to-end fulfillment including demand-supply matching, allocation, tracking and monitoring progress of fulfillment opened with other sourcing channels.
- interacts with delivery managers to understand resource requirement, while also interacting with resources for explaining project roles & responsibilities.
- hosts and provides reporting for demand fulfillment and bench calls weekly with individual practice groups to ensure proactive communication and resolution of issues
- monitors bench forecasts to identify future available capacity and works to place resources before they hit the bench
- manages ramp down resources prior to coming available to see if they can be reassigned to any upcoming open demand
- work with resources coming available in assistance in finding new position
- triages resource requests and follow up with initiators to get resource requests corrected to achieve approval.
- reviews demand when it is received for accuracy and completeness.
- drives resource request closure by hosting meetings and making phone calls to initiators and fulfillment team; monitors open demand report and reaches out to leaders who have demand in pending approval, hold or rework as the demand is not being worked on while in this status.
- implements standard procedures to handle recurring activities such as monitoring employee assignment end dates.
- deals with escalations and complaints from all people in the demand & supply cycle of resource fulfillment.
(this could require time spent researching an escalated issue or preparing a detailed report to present to management.)
- interfaces with the delivery management teams based out of mx / na region on a regular basis
- maintains data integrity in ntt tools by generating multiple reports and analyzing the results to find missing and wrong data that impacts report results.
- writes detailed comments in each of the open resource requests to indicate key status info during its life cycle.
this could include the name of the person filling the position, or the reason the request has been cancelled.
- available for involvement in responses to government requests for proposals: provides market rates to help with rate cards; searches for available skills within the company; locates proactive resumes for proposal responses; coordinates with various departments such as recruitment, training & development, hr, immigration and employee relations during resource fulfillment, utilization-tracking, non-billability analysis and resulting actions.
- the position requires a high level of familiarity with internal tools of ntt.
the complex tools require special training to learn the comprehensive talent acquisition suite of modules including account maintenance, resource request fulfillment, external resource search and on boarding, and employee allocation and assignment tracking.
these tools are used many hours of every business day, so it is critical to have or quickly develop extensive knowledge of the tool.
- requisite training would be provided on these tools.
- other duties as assigned by management.
*required experience*:
- minimum of three years' experience in global resource management, preferably within the information technology / information technology enabled services industry, and preferably with mx and/or north america clients in est shifts.
- minimum of one year of experience using microsoft office tools (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook).
- fluent in written and spoken english.
*other preferred characteristics*:
- detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- highly skilled in ms excel and pivot tables.
- prior experience in recruiting highly preferred.
- good interpersonal and communication skills, high level of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- basic project management skills a plus.
