Responsibilities
* responsible for all aspects of food and kitchens as well as staff, ensuring quality and preparation of these in a timely manner.
* responsible for the purchase, handling and inventory of products and raw materials according to the standards established by the hotel and company.
* develop menus intelligently to achieve the objectives (cost and revenue) of financial and guest satisfaction established as goals of the department and the company.
* develop comprehensive training programs for culinary training for growth promotion and internal promotions.
qualifications
* three to five years of experience in the position.
* ability to work all seasons in the kitchen at a very competent level for a luxury restaurant.
* ability to work under pressure while performing assigned tasks with attention to detail, speed, precision, monitoring, courtesy, cooperation and work with a minimum of supervision.
* ability to communicate satisfactorily in english (speaking, reading, writing with guests, co-workers and the address to their understanding.)
