your mission, roles and responsibilities
the hr generalist supports aligning the forvia people strategy with local business needs. They act as an administrative hr expert and the trusted go‑to partner for forvia employees within their perimeter. The role is a strategic partner for business stakeholders, setting priorities, driving values, and delivering business results.
* act as trusted hr expert for all forvia employees at your site.
* manage the organizational structure and the recruitment process for indirect employees.
* manage all operational administrative tasks regarding hr topics.
* execute local and global hr initiatives such as employee surveys, employer branding initiatives, employee events, and culture & change management projects.
* coordinate external hr service suppliers (recruitment, training, and employee benefits).
* oversee and supervise onboarding, training, and employee development processes.
* monthly hr reporting.
* coordinate annual performance management global process.
* manage compensation bonus programs.
* participate in audits and controls for hr.
* close cooperation with the workers council or union.
your profile and competencies to succeed
minimum education level
* ba/bsc in hr, business administration or related.
* ma/msc in hr, business administration or related (preferred).
professional experience
* minimum 3‑5 years of experience in an hr role for manufacturing operations environment.
* experience solving organizational and hr matters in a manufacturing operations environment.
* solid knowledge of local labor law and hr policies.
* strong business partner acumen for operations.

* build strong interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
* fluency in the local language and english skills.
