hse safety leader
objective
critical need to strengthen the culture of safety and risk prevention within our operations. Currently, the growth of our operations, the number of employees, and the complexity of our processes demand a specialized role to coordinate, supervise, and implement comprehensive and systematic workplace safety strategies.
main responsibilities
* analyze strategies for legal and regulatory compliance
* evaluate risks identified by the plants, coordinating site strategies and annexes
* develop preventive program strategies
* develop and monitor the regional strategy for implementing an occupational health and safety management system
* support certifications and external audits of the system
position requirements
* degree in industrial, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or related fields; master's degree preferred
* experience with safety legislation (federal, state, and municipal), iso 45001 lead auditor certification
* skills in risk analysis, strategic leadership, development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans, leading multidisciplinary teams, change management, and strong networking skills
