Position summary
process analysts define, document, assess, and scrutinize the business processes of an organization or department and then identify areas for potential improvement. They also ensure processes are aligned with organization objectives and guidelines. They meet with stakeholders across the organization to gather research, and also interact with outside vendors. Entails providing support to buyers and purchasing units by analyzing system data and preparing purchase orders; participating on the vendor registrations and material part registration.
primary responsibilities
* ensures data integrity and compliance with purchasing cost reduction road map.
* respond to e-mails and phone calls from vendors, and interact with various employees to keep orders moving smoothly.
* responsible for the analysis and maintenance of procurement data, including purchase orders, quotations, and invoices source catalogs; material rejection reports, tooling records, and inventory management.
* material and vendor data registration.
* responsible of preparing information for internal as well external audits.
* monitor shipments to guarantee on-time delivery and settle problems associated with undelivered goods.
* accurately report all project milestones to top management.
* responsible for the material part creation in sap, he/she is the subject matter expert on this topic.
* follows the sim (supplier information management) set up process to ensure that all new suppliers are set up timely and accurately
o identifies savings opportunities and works with each regional indirect team on cross regional projects
* establishes the supplier kpi’s and monitors the performance of the supplier through regular business meetings
* establishes internal meetings with core functions and business units to understand upcoming business changes/goals to ensure they are aligned.
* continuous improvement activities by identifying changes and enhancements to systems or processes.

previous experience:
required: 1 years previous indirect purchasing for analyst, jr buyer
preferred: 2+ years, ability to read and understand purchasing procedures. Automotive experience preferred with purchasing of indirect categories such as: it/telco, facility management, legal and professional, equipment & site cost, and travel & fleet, packaging
