*role summary*:
provide technical and commercial support to the sales area to obtain purchase orders from
the products handled globally by fpd, through the preparation of technical offers and
trademarks of flowserve pump division products, based on requests
of customers' quotes meeting the quality expectations of the offers
*responsibilities & requirements*: process, manage and lead each quote request that is assigned to search
specify, when possible, in a purchase order with sales support.
- review and analyze rfqs of fpd original equipment and duplicate equipment
- determine if there are products within the fpd catalog that can perform the
services demanded by each rfq.
- generate the hydraulic selections and define the scope of supply based on the
requirements of the client.
- issue rfqs to suppliers of buy outs, components and accessories
as needed.
- negotiate with suppliers to get competitive offers.
- review with product managers, tactical product support engineers and/or engineering, the
feasibility of selecting equipment when necessary.
- carry out the initial review of the contractual commercial terms, terms and conditions of purchase and sale that accompany the quotation requests.
- prepare advanced review requests for the contracts (legal) team.
- prepare sales approval requests (sap) with details of strategies and costing of
in accordance with corporate procedures.
- maintain constant communication with the sales team to receive information
relevant to help obtain purchase orders and to find out the status of purchase orders.

*preferred experience / skills*: mechanical/mechatronics/industrial/chemical engineer or similar.
