1. review, localize, fact check, translate, and adapt apps, music, video, sports, and fitness related content while adhering to writing style guide and guidelines.
2. conduct market-specific research on local content, product and terminology trends, and best localization practices for the target audience in their market.
3. provide feedback on written content from others.
requirements:
* bs/ba and 2+ years of work experience in the field of linguistics, journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing media content with proof of writing samples.
* knowledge of apps, video games, movies, series, music, sports, or fitness – experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
* native-level fluency in the target language.
* excellent grammar and writing skills in the target language.
* tech savvy: strong practical knowledge of computers and mobile devices, word processors, spreadsheets, touch-typing expertise, digital presentations, search engine knowledge, keyboard shortcuts, virtual conferences, and social media.
* knowledge of ios/macos systems.
* owning licensed versions of ms office apps.
* ability to work independently and remotely.
* collaborative; enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment.
