we are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team as a chemical industry representative. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
key responsibilities
* actively visit customers, new or existing, either independently and/or in conjunction with other functions to promote incora - haas products and services.
* sell complete incora - haas product lines and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* meet and/or exceed annual goals for bookings, gross profit dollar and gross profit percentage.
* provide sales, marketing and application engineering coverage in an assigned area.
* maintain professionalism, customer service and customer focus while building strategic partnerships with potential and existing accounts.
required skills and qualifications
* 5 years minimum chemical industry outside sales experience; or 5 years chemical inside sales experience required.
* desirable or advanced knowledge of chemical industry materials and specifications, projects.
* excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* clear and accurate documentation skills.
* strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers.
* ability to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth research, if required.
* strong competency working with integrated data systems, microsoft office suite, including outlook and intermediate to advanced word and excel.

working conditions
the successful candidate will be required to travel greater than 30% of their time and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
education
a ba or bs degree in marketing, engineering or business is preferred, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
