We are seeking a proactive and detail‐oriented prevention quality engineer t to ensure error‐free product launches and robust quality performance throughout the entire program lifecycle. This role is responsible for applying customer quality requirements, driving apqp/ppap deliverables, leading quality reviews, and supporting cross‐functional teams to secure stable, capable processes and high‐reliability products.
additionally, this position will handle documentation updates, deviation requests, audit follow‐ups, capability validations, and customer‐facing quality interactions.
key responsibilities
* apply customer quality requirements within the apqp framework, including special characteristics, traceability, and documentation control.
* support design, manufacturing, and operational teams across all stages of the capm launch process.
* prepare and lead product launch quality reviews (plqr) and product safety sign‐off audits.
* identify program risks through pfmea, past concerns, and lessons learned.
* act as key liaison for customer quality concerns; support on‐site visits and elevate issues when required.
* maintain program‐specific quality templates, deliverables, and gateway documentation.
* select and execute appropriate quality tests; analyze data and determine corrective actions.
* manage quality documentation, special reports, and operational compliance tasks.
* prioritize workload, maintain productivity, and ensure timely delivery of quality tasks.
* conduct capability studies, support amef reviews, and validate control plan documentation (from intake form).
* analyze and validate dimensional layouts, deviations, and modifications supporting product introduction.
requirements
* 3–5 years in quality or prevention engineering roles.
* experience in quality documentation, audits, and customer‐facing problem resolution.
* competence in capability studies, dimensional analysis, and quality systems.
* experience in manufacturing environments, ideally automotive.
* strong understanding of quality methods: core tools, ppap, amef, problem solving, etc.
* bachelor's degree in engineering
