as an oracle database developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and supporting epicor's back-end oracle database objects and processes. Your work will power both internal and end-user applications and database interfaces, playing a key role in driving epicor's automotive aftermarket data products and services.

* participate in collaborative team discussions to evaluate application requirements, identifying key application, process, functional specification, and design considerations.
* translate application requirements into functional specifications and well-structured technical designs.
* clearly communicate and document functional specifications and technical design details for stakeholders.
* review code and conduct unit, functional, and system testing to ensure quality and performance.
what you will likely bring
* 2+ years of experience with oracle pl/sql.
* proficiency in sql and pl/sql (oracle, sql server, mysql, postgresql).
* familiarity with git and source control tools.
* strong communication skills and ability to document technical work.
* ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
what could set you apart
* experience using git for source control and working with xml and/or json data formats.
* exposure to ai/ml tools and services (e.g., microsoft azure, aws, chatgpt).
* familiarity with oracle application express (apex).
* background or experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
